Goa: The Relaxed Celebration
Goa works brilliantly for couples who want a less formal, more fun-first energy. Grand Hyatt Goa, W Goa, Taj Fort Aguada, and Planet Hollywood are all strong options. Beach ceremonies at sunset, a pool-side sangeet, brunch the morning after. The vibe is completely different from a palace wedding, and the cost is generally 20-30% lower.
Kerala: The Underrated Gem
Kerala has been our dark horse recommendation for the last two years. Kumarakom Lake Resort, Taj Bekal, and Coconut Lagoon offer backwater settings that photographs beautifully.
