Every mandap Yellow Umbrella creates begins as a sketch in our design studio and ends as a handcrafted installation at your venue. Nothing is sourced from rental inventory. Every pillar, archway, canopy, and floral element is designed specifically for your wedding and fabricated in our production unit in Hyderabad.
This matters more than it sounds. When you rent a mandap, you get what is available. When you commission one from us, you get what you envisioned. The scale, the proportions, the material finish, the colour palette, all of it is built to your brief.
Design Styles We Work In
Temple-inspired mandaps that draw from South Indian and Rajasthani architectural traditions, with carved columns, arched gateways, and rich material finishes. Contemporary geometric mandaps with clean lines, metallic accents, and dramatic floral overhead. Floral garden canopies where the structure almost disappears under a ceiling of blooms. Palace-style darbar mandaps with heavy drapery, chandeliers, and regal proportions.
We have also designed and built floating mandaps over water, rooftop mandaps with open-sky installations, and fully enclosed mandap environments where lighting creates the architecture.
The Production Process
After an initial design brief, our team creates 3D renderings of the mandap for your approval. Once the design is confirmed, fabrication begins in our workshop. Structural elements are tested for stability before transport. Installation at your venue typically takes one to two days depending on the complexity of the structure. Our team remains on site through the wedding to manage any adjustments.
